A bit disappointing.

I purchased this book based on the art of seeing these two characters together. I love romance so I had thought this would have been more of that, even while starting out as a horror/angst type of story. I kept waiting for them to be together and to have that happy ending, so I was disappointed when I reached the end of the book that it was not to be so. I loved the characters, however, and really did wish for them to be together happily. It was well written, but simply disappointing.

Great collection!

When you're an intermediate student in a language, learning resources become not only tough to find. They tend to be ...

... boring!

But this collection, which I was delighted to grab for my Kindle, has all the great features of other story collections by Olly that I've enjoyed in both Spanish and German. The stories use colloquial language so that you're getting exposure to the way people speak in situations that they actually live.

Highly recommended. I have the print copy of his German short story book, so imagine this one looks just as cool as a paperback.
