Don't blame me! Or do.
In this soon-to-be-bestseller, Dr. Neil Farber takes a new look at the world's oldest game. With humor and wit, The Blame Game will teach you the rules, techniques, and advanced strategies of this ancient past time. One of the first things you'll learn is how to pick a Target of Blame (TOB)-- ''the scapegoat, the stooge, the donkey'' -- as Farber writes.
Wars, wildfires, terrorism, and talk shows are all to blame ... and somebody's to blame for all of those. In fact, a skilled player could follow the Chain of Blame (COB) all the way back to the cavemen. And Farber does.
An experienced player can blame anything or anyone, at any time. Students not succeeding in school? Blame the teachers. Or the parents. Or the teachers' parents, or the pencils. Bad day at the office? Blame the boss. Of course, blame the employees if you are the boss.
On a deeper level, The Blame Game is self-empowering; providing you with the inspiration, the knowledge, and the tools that you need to accept responsibility and gain control of your life. Farber shows you how to improve your health, well-being, relationships and careers by reaching beyond blame.
So pick up the book and put down the game.

Outstanding
By Jeffrey Clayton
I never realized how pervasive and damaging blaming is until I read this book. The impulse to blame someone or something else is strong and ingrained. We all do it and usually without really being aware we're doing it. Blaming hurts other people, reflects poorly on us and promotes negativity. Since reading this witty, well researched book I've become more aware of other people blaming and especially when I feel the impulse to blame my shortcomings or bad attitude on other people. The author seems to have broad base of knowledge and uses historical and current events to highlight his points in a humorous way. This book is different and refreshing in it's approach. It has helped me improve my outlook and attitude in my own hectic work and home life. Highly recommendable. It has made me more aware of and to stop playing "The Blame Game".

A lighthearted eye-opener
By Amazon Customer
This book, written in a lighthearted, easy to read, conversational manner, is an eye opener. Blaming is everywhere. It drains our energy and focus and distracts us from getting to solutions. This book brings this fact to the forefront of our awareness, where it can be dealt with. My favorite part of the book is from chapter 10 onward where the benefits of quitting the blame game and mechanism of how to quit are described. Dr. Farber draws upon his own life experience so much so that, once finished, you feel as if you just had a long conversation with a good friend about something that really matters.
